Jenkintown, Pa., September 11, 2006 -- A Chance to Heal Foundation (ACTH) elected five new directors at a Special Board of Directors meeting held on Sunday, September 10, 2006. In addition to the new directors, two appointments to the Advisory Board and the establishment of a Junior Advisor Group were announced. A Chance to Heal's mission is to reduce the long-term impact of eating disorders by promoting early diagnosis through awareness, education and health advocacy. The new directors add expertise in the areas of health, education and advocacy.

A founding ACTH board director, Diane has taken on the responsibility of Executive Director of the organization.
The Junior Advisory Group represents the voices of today's young women and men and tomorrow's leaders. The Junior Advisory Group provides fresh ideas and critiques for ACTH's educational programming and outreach. The Junior Advisory Group includes Kirah Miles, Alexis Pitcairn, Marni Pogachefsky, Shlomit Twersky, Alexis Katchuk, and Whitney Wildrick. The Junior Advisory Group is chaired by co-founder Rachel Silver.
