WHO/WHAT:
A Chance to Heal Foundation (ACTH) will host “Reclaim The True Beauty Within,” a talk by supermodel Emme to discuss body image and the proliferation of eating disorders that is plaguing Americans. A best-selling author, clothing designer and host of E! Entertainment Television’s “Fashion Emergency,” Emme is an advocate for women and men of all ages to be fit and healthy. Her message is aimed at increasing awareness and raising funds to help treat body image and eating disorders.
ACTH is a non-profit 501(c)3 foundation established in 2005 to raise funds to support treatment, promote understanding and advocate for people with eating disorders, and provide treatment grants for patients in the greater Philadelphia region.

A Chance to Heal Foundation’s mission is to reduce the long-term impact of eating disorders by promoting early diagnosis through awareness, education and health advocacy. ACTH provides financial assistance to individuals with eating disorders and advocates for change to ensure continued access to quality care through regulatory initiatives.
